This is a clear indication of the attractiveness and performance of our destinations. Our diverse range of services in the spas and health resorts not only convinced more and more guests from Oberstdorf to Damp, but also from Bern to New York. This trend is particularly satisfying, "says von Bloh, director of the German Spas Association e. V. (DHV). He is convinced that travel intensity to Germany will continue to grow in the coming years and due to the increasing importance of health tourism even more positive numbers for the German spas and health resorts are expected for this year."
“With a 30 billion euros turnover, 400.000 jobs and a 30 percent share of reported German overnights, the German spas and health resorts are a major factor in German tourism, "says von Bloh. The spa concept stands for a holistic approach, coupled with relaxation and physical activity framed by high service quality. Their effectiveness was researched for decades and developed constantly under regular quality controls.
