Convinced by the neccesity of new projects and programs, the Romanian Spa’s Ówners Organization (OPTBR) organized during the International Tourism Fair in Bucharest, end November, a conference regarding the opportunities for acceding the European Fonds; recent was organized by the Chief of the Office of the European Commission in Romania a „’Ceremony Gala”” to celebrate the main projects and partners; a great selection of the best and representatives projects demonstrated the blow-up of the interest to benefit from the Structural Fond to the benefit of the entire society; from 10 different section, 2 were dedicate to „tourism”.
As special guests at the Gala were Mr. Jirki Katainen- vicepresident of the European Commission, Mrs. Corina Cretu – European Commisioner for the Regional Politics; they underlined the great spirit of initiative and creativity of the participants and focused their attention to projects with a large impact and influence area on the young people;it was remarked the new trend of the development of tourism as a emerging industry.
Looking for nwe products and services that can be offered to the guests in the spas, a company from Baile Tusnad introduced since last summer, anti-ageing programms after the method of prof.dr.Ana Aslan; numerous tourists from Romania and other countries were interested in these programms; recent, a celebration of the founder – prof. Dr. Ana Aslan – of the Gerovital and Aslavital products was organized by the occasion of issuing a e-book dedicated to the great presonality; the treatments were dedicated to a better life in the 3rd age, to improve the work capacity and to maintain an active life in the 3rd age too; great personalities from politics, culture, etc. tryied the treatments and were satisfied from the results. These programs will be extended in other spa resorts too.
In Baile Herculane – known since the Roman’soldiers time an excellent spa due to the healing waters - was organized a conference under the name „Herculane – more than water...” just to promoting the natural factors, especially the water; a lot of specialists expressed their opinion about the opportunities for a better use of the natural potential and how to develop better a spa having a long history. They decided to make an agresive promotion in order to bring tourists from other countries too.
