In Germany there are several establishments that offer their guests health holidays with prevention programs. Until now, these health programs have mainly taken place in Germany.

Thanks to the collaboration between ESPA board member Marlies Sobczak and the LebensSinne Center Wiefelstede/Lower Saxony and entrepreneurs, these certified health weeks can be offered for the first time in a number of coastal towns on the Dutch coast.

The initiative was taken in Noordwijk and this year these programs will be offered in the municipality of Veere and on the Wadden island of Texel. The costs for the health program are paid by German health insurers.
