ESPA proudly presents Dr. Malina Müller as a keynote speaker at the European Spas & Balneology Congress to be held from 8 – 10 October in Haapsalu, Estonia.
Dr. Malina Müllerleads the Health Economics research division at the WifOR Institute, where she specialises in statistics, health policy, and alternative economic models. Her work is driven by the mission of achieving health for all by making the societal value of health interventions visible. Dr. Müller has led numerous high-impact studies on the Social Impact of medical innovations, focusing on the long-term, population-level benefits of preventative health approaches. Through advanced econometric modeling, statistical analysis, and simulations, she evaluates the efficacy and return on investment (ROI) of innovative treatments and public health strategies. Her keynote will highlight how better health is not only a moral imperative, but also a powerful economic asset.
As part of our shared vision, we aim to unite our efforts and initiate joint research on the health-economic value of traditional European spas, health resorts, and climate-based therapies—long-standing pillars of preventive care with untapped potential for integration into modern healthcare systems.
