The European Spas Association (ESPA) is pleased to share an upcoming educational initiative from the SMACC+ Project, organised in collaboration with Cosmetic Valley, an associate partner of the project. One of the project’s partners is University of Vigo, which is also an active partnert of the Thalasso Working Group.
The SMACC+ International Webinar Series will bring together researchers, industry experts and innovators to explore the latest developments in microalgae biocompounds and their applications in nutricosmetics, health and sustainable innovation.
The first webinar, titled “Cultivation of Microalgae”, will take place on 22 September 2026. Participation is free of charge, and the online platform offers unlimited capacity, making the event accessible to everyone interested in this rapidly evolving field.
The webinar marks the beginning of a broader series of online sessions that will continue throughout the second half of 2026 and during 2027, covering key topics related to innovation, sustainability and the future of microalgae-based products.
